About this service

Procedure last checked: 05/2023

A demolition permit is an official authorisation issued by the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing through the Balady platform. It allows the building's owner to demolish the building or architectural structure standing on the land they own.

The permit is issued on an application from the owner, or from the contractor authorised to carry out the work, once all the requirements (the documents required) have been provided and it has been confirmed that all the conditions for demolishing safely, with no adverse effect on neighbouring buildings or the surrounding environment, are met.
